The IMac is In full Hd. It has 2x the processor speed (ram) . It has a quad core processor with an Intel core i5 or 7 Nehalem. A quad core processor means it has four cores so the data doesen’t have to travel far. The IMac also has more features. Sinceit has 4 processors on one die (chip or circut) on it takes less time for data to travel from core to core. this speeds up the application by 2x over the previous generation of mac. Unlike computers ofr laptops that use a separate device to connect to the processor the IMac uses the quad-core processors to conect directely improving memory bandwith (data bits) by up to 2.5x. If you are using a application that doesn’t need all 4 cores you can speed up the process by turning off the idle cores and speeding up the ones you are using. Since every new IMac comes with Mac Snow Leapord. This IMac has the right arcitecture fore every intel processor to be as good as it can. With the IMac Apple has created care and clarity in every pixel. At the very top of the IMac is a teeny tiny camera that you can video chat with, take snapshots,(etc).
